Event Sender Test Connection in step 4/5 fails

Hi

I'm installing B1iSN 2007 on our customer's server, and I can't complete the setup of the Event Sender.

On step 3/5 the test connection success, but on step 4/5 when I click on the receiver button, the test connection fails.

The error is that the B1i Application URI is not set.

This is very urget, since the customer is waiting for the Bi1SN installation to be completed.

Why are you installing B1iSN 2007 as opposed to B1iSN 8.8?

Thanks for your replay.

I have the packages ready for the customer, and I made them and exported them from B1iSN 2007.

What is the different between B1iSN 2007 and B1iSN 8.8?

Hi Chana,

As it is an installation problem on an SAP product please open a message for SAP support, they will help you in finding out the reason of the problem.

It seems there is a problem to connect from the Event Sender to the B1iSN server, are they in the same machine? Is B1iSN running ok and connection between both machines is working fine with no firewalls or closed ports?

Hi Trinidad,

I tried again the next day, and suddenly it worked.

Probably it was the firewall that blocked the connection as you said, because that is the only change we did.
