Search Function In PA20 And PA30

When i search for an employee in PA20 or PA30 transaction by personnel number for a US employee the search works fine, but if i do it for any other country employee like poland it does not search because it looks for the social security field for an employee which Poland employees does not have ofcourse.

Is there a way we can search for employees in poland through this, is there a user exit or table modification. Your answers will be much appreciated.

There's a way to search on name in the US. I'm not sure it works for Poland. The formula is: =n.lastname.firstname

My first name is Howard, and my last name is Gardner. The search formula for me would be: =n.gardner.howard

If this is a unique combination of first and last names, my PERNR will display. If not, all employees who match will display and the user has to select the appropriate employee.

I canu2019t tell from your post whether or not you have the name. If so, try this.
