Change of Material Type Error...

Hi Gurus,

Please can you help me in resolving this below issue while i tried to change the material type using MMAM....

"The new material type requires that all the following data for the mat. is first archived and deleted: Sales Data (MVKE)"

Checked the table RESB and doesn't exists any reservations...

Hi,

Before changing material type of the masterial master in t.code: MMAM, just cross check did that material master is available in the system.As error says;; material master is archived and then deleted.

Yes, the Materials exits, but this might be due to Sales view existing for Semifinished material type which needs to be changed to Phantom Material type where Sales view doesn't exist.

So if we delete the sales view from the existing material i believe i should allow to change, but again the question how to remove the sales data alone from these Materials?

Have you tried the system suggestion: first archive and delete Sales Data ?
