Cant reject posting run

Hi SAP Guru's

I am trying to Reject and Delete a wrong posting in PRRW , but its says " Rejection is not possible - No trip data in the current system" Msg no : 56831

as well when i try delete that post run "deleting only possible in status in rejected or no document created " Msg no :56823

Please guide me.. I really appreciate your help. thanks

Are you trying to carry a trip forward from a previous year with funds management? I saw a similar issue whereby a trip that had incorrect status and not properly reset (eg cancelled in PR05) and this error occured.

Also have a look at OSS note 170334 which is a consulting note for partially posted runs etc.

No not exactly..

When i try to check its showing posting period 05 2011 is not open? is that a cause to not being reject / delete?

hi shan,

it seems that the posting period is closed for the period 5, so , go to t.code OB52 to open the posting period for 5 period for your company code.
