Asset Retirement ... default cost center

Friends,

I and retiring some assets using ABAVN. It's posting depreciation with a cost center which is different than the cost center in asset's master record. My question is from where it's taking this default cost center and how could i force it to take the cost center from asset master record.

Hi

Check if there is a default assignment of Cost Center in KA02 or OKB9 for your depreciation expense GL. Also you need to allow KOSTL as a field for depreciation and APC Posting in ACSET

Yes... there was default cost center in KA02 for that cost element. Will remove that and try again. Thanks.

Hi, did you activate CC for asset accounting in ACSET, and for depr run?

If not, then CC could derive from substitution(obbh,okb9 etc)
