GL Account values not fetched into Webi report

Hi ALL,

i've created webi on top of universe that is created on BW report.

the report executes fine when i use all other fields except the GL Account. When i use the GL Account in the report , it hangs and no values are displayed.

Please suggest.

WHich version of BO do you use (incl. SP and FP)? WHich is the patch level of your BW system? Did you change anything in the BEx query lately?

Thanks for the reply

BO XI 3.1 and for bo we are on SP (2)and FP(2) and bw patch level is 6.

I did refresh the universe structure and created the webi document.

BI 7 with EHP 1?

What you can do is to extract the MDX statement (Unix : Note 1235111 Windows : Note 1260004) and run it directly on the SAP BW system using the MDXTEST transaction. Check if you get any data there.

it's just BI 7.0.

and in This BW report is on ODS.. so can i test in MDXTEST?

So you use BW 7.00 with SPS 6? I do not believe that this SAP BW version is supported for reporting with BO XI 3.1.

Can you double-check if you are using SAP BW 7.01?

I assume that you access the ODS by building a universe over a BEx query on a multiprovider. Correct?

Hi Stratos,

I'll check with my basis team about BI patch level and system details ..

I created Bex query on ODS... and bulit the universe on top of this bex query there is no multiprovider.

The report executes fine without having GL account field in the report.The report hangs only when i add GL account field.

How many GL account do you expect to get?

I would recommend to extract the MDX and test it as I mentioned previously.
