Legacy Asset Upload for New Plant Rollout

Dear All,

Hi, Good Morning,

We have GOlive on 01/10/2010 with 35 plants in 12 locations our fiscal year is oct10 to sep11.

But from 31/03/2011 we have rollout new plant with all modules.

We have completed our Legacy upload except Asset. In which i am facing issue.

From which date should i prepare asset File i.e i should calculate Acc Dep till 30.09.2010 or 31.03.2011

Secondly if i go with 30.09.2010 what about capitalisation after 01.10.2010 how to load it.

If i go with 31.03.2011 it is not giving correct depreciation and also it is not allowing current year capitalisation.

Please guide me for my above scenario.

I have changed the year to 31/03/2011 and after this system allowed me to post current year depreciaton for old asset and it also allowed me for current capitalised asset to be uploaded through AS91

Hi

If you have already uploaded assets for the existing plants - Then change the Takeover date in the IMG and change to 31/03/2011

Upload the assets for the new plants... DO NOT make any changes to existing assets from AS92 after changing the takeover date
