PO line item over tolerance allowed above configuration reg

HI MM Expert,

My MM consultant configure PO line item over tolerance 5 % and then Purchase order created by end user given 15 % over tolerance in the PO line item. After released PO end user made GRN 6.5 % allowed & posted, but consultant configured 5 % over write(allowed) the above configure during GRN Posted.

My question is it is possible to allow GRN posting above over tolerance of configuration. Kindly provide valuable answer it is possible & why?

Hi,

This configuration is only for maintaining the tolerances in master data like material and info record which will default the same in PO. But user can overwrite the same and increase or decreate the tolerance.

If you don't want user to change the same then control this field by PO field selection and make it Display Mode only.

In OMC0,configure the tolerance limit at the time of GR.Please input the correct tolerance key for the same
