I have checked system --> status . its shows valid till License expiration 31.12.9999
Kindly suggest ..
Hi,
One point is clear that check from tcode SLICENSE whether license is valid.
Also, please check whether the user running the bacground jobs is locked ? If that user is having problem, then the background job run by them gets failed.
Unlock those users

Are you able to login with your user id on System. If yes then start any background job once again and check what message you are getting. Also check the dev_w* files.

Hi
Several reasons may be possible and the input from you is insufficient to analyze, but check the following:
1) Do you have multiple app. servers? then it might be possible that job would be scheduled in some other app server whose license was expired.
2) Have you done system refresh recently? In that case the old license would have come and it would fail license check.
3) Did you run SLICENSE and check under new licenses if there is a valid license for the current hardware ID? (for all app servers).
4) Is the system part of a failover cluster and did the failover happen at the time you say these background jobs failed?
Let me know the answers for better understanding.
Cheers!
Javed
