Licensing Adobe Document Services

Can any one tell me what all components of ADS are free and what all components require any licence.

Also there are some SAP provided PDF forms. Do we require and licence for changing them ? also is there any licence required for creating new Forms?

Hi,

you have to pay for each custom and modified form template (only in production environment). The fee depends on how many end-users work with the form.

The following text is coming directly from sap marketplace alias /abobe -> FAQs #18.

<i><b>Usage of print forms (high-volume printing) is included in your respective SAP license.

You need a license for Interactive Forms based on Adobe software when you:

- Create your own custom-developed interactive form templates

- Modify an SAP-delivered interactive form template by, for example, adding interactive fields.

This would be considered to be more than a cosmetic change (such as inserting your logo or some static text on an SAP-delivered interactive form template), and is therefore licensable.

Note that the license applies only when you use interactive forms in a production system, that is when PDF forms are generated for filling in by end users.
