Hi,

I am trying to connect to BOE thru Live Office "Object Properties" -> "Choose..." button.

Repeatedly I am getting the following error without any success till now.

"An error occurred when the Repository Explorer was initialized. (LO 02028)"

"Registry subkeys should not be greater than 255 characters."

I have tried reinstalling Live Office, but no success till now.

Has anyone encountered this issue? Please let me know if there are any known solution for this.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Ram.

What is the version of BOE (live office) you are using?

Thanks,

Hi,

first time you are trying to create live office conection....?...

If you are trying to install in your laptop means .....while installing BO application you have installed as server or client ?

Hi,

Plz Verify the network connection by "pinging" the server. If the network is running properly, log on to the CMC and check if the web service is up. If the problem persists, reinstall Live Office.

Thanks Sri.

I have tried them already.

The server is located on the same machine.

I am basically trying it on my laptop.

That is not problem with ur Liveoffice but with ur OS.

Need more information like OS ,Version and its patch details.

Sub Regestry key errors are mostly related to old versions of OS
