Hi
I need to create payment format in PMW for UK region. The DME files are to be sent to bank in XML format.
1) Can I use the DME Engine to create the formats as per the bank requirement.
2) What are the standard formats available for high value and low value payments for UK SAP .
Thanks
kamala
Most of the banks (almost) accept the PMW structure GB_BACS
Do not see much need to create any further structure.
If you really want to do anything, copy GB_BACS and do little tweaks in DMEE

Hi
There are many types of payment methods used by the client in UK. Will all l the payment types work with one format ie
GB_BACS . DO I have to create multiple formats for each.
Payment method used :
-
a) High value payments - paid next day
b) Normal - 3-4 day transfer
c) normal using Swift
d) SEPA
Thanks
kamala
Hello,
There is no program for next day payments. Either you need to create a program or PMW structure based on the format.
Most clients do not bifurcate in such a way. Most of them us GB_BACS, I believe it will take up to 3 days to credit the vendor account. GB_BACS kind of method is widely accepted.
CHAPS ( Clearing House Automated Payment System) is kind of payment which will be paid on the same day. You can also use this for high value payments.
Important transaction codes to refer:
FBZP
AL11
OBPM4
Refer my previous threads in the forum.
Hi SAP Community,
You said above: "

What setting do I have to change in the DME Engine, to make the format GB_BACS will be paid on the same day (CHAPS)?
I would be greatful for your advises.
Best regards,
Thanh
