Material Selection in Material Ledger Closing

Dear Gurus,

We have nearly 1 lakh above material codes, but while doing Material Ledger Closing system is taking only 455 only. I want to know what is the logic, it is taking only 455.

What is difference if i mark the price after closing or only if i do closing only without marking material price.
