"Document Printing" function and Crystal Reports

SAP B1 8.8, PL 15

Company uses Crystal Report docs for orders, invoices, etc.

When company uses Document Printing to print a bunch of docs at once, say, invoices, primary series, the docs print in seemly random order.

How is Document Printing implemented with CR reports?

TIA

Hi,

It is possible the order is by docentry. Query the invoice tale to check.

Thanks,

?

Are they, by design, supposed to print in DocNum or DocEntry order?

Have you checked? It may not be possible by document number. Possible by DocEntry or any nature order. That is design limitation.

It sounds like you are saying Print enough documents and check them against the table until a pattern reveals itself. Sorry, if I misunderstand you, but this seems goofy.

If Business One is printing a group of documents from the same table, there ought to be a known design as to the order in which they are ordered. DocEntry, DocNum, CreateDate, CardCode, something. These fields aren't customized-document dependent. Even if they were all removed from the document itself, they'd still be present in the table.

I have the same position as you since I am not part of the development team.

Few from that team may post answers. That is my observation.

I am based on my understanding of database to try to help you.
