HI

if we are want to create a certificate on the basis of inspection happen on inspection type 04 (gr from production)

1.then In QC01(certification profile) under maintain the Material Reference and Data Origin what are the data we want to give weather we want to assign 04 type here

2.under the characteristic data what are the data we want to give ,weather we want to give all mic in inspection plan we want to assign here

Hi,

Generating Outgoing Quality Certificates in SAP: While creating Certificate Profile in QC01:

As you specify the certificate type and name the certificate profile, General Data, Restrictions for Inspection lot selecton, you go to the next screen.

Next screen: Characteristics mapping.

In this charac mapping: you can choose the sequence of characteristics, Caterogy (MIC or class char), corresponding descriptiong (short text), Plant, MIC number, Version of MIC, Charac name, Result selection level (summarized or Mean or original value) Result origin (classification/inspn-batch from prodn/inspn result/material classification/Multiple specs/Multiple specs-prodn chain), corresponding short text, Inspn spec origin, strategy for skip, text element, Required char or not, Material sort number (when the results are to be populated from more than one material), UOM, Decimal places, Output format (how the text needs to be populated: like with/without tolerances), By columns, by number of columns, Exponent notation, Output length,

Add text (if outside/within the tolerance), Inspection method (can be a short des), char description for Quality Data exchange.

Next screen: Material -->Display Selection Criteria and Material Sequence:

Here you maintain:

the data origin for characteristic from Insps: Maintain material reference: Here you are assigning the material wherefrom you'll be pulling the characteristics that are mapped in the Certificate Profile (generally, it is the same material for which you wanted to create a Certificate)

Data origin for charac from batches: here you assign the material number. Charac are drawn from the batches of this material.

Further: you can specify:

Stock transfers: can include the stock transferred materials also

Explosion level: here, the charac. results are pulled from Batch where used list. That means: you can pull a caharacteristic result from maximum number of steps that can be exploded during the top-down explosion of the batch where-used list. If you do not enter anything in the parameter, the entire usage of the specified batch will be exploded in a maximum of 90 steps.

This culminates the creation of a Certificate Profile.

In this tab whatever material you would select this certificate profile would activate to that material. And in this tab you can also select the inspection type or you can also map this in restriction for inspection lot selection.

2.under the characteristic data what are the data we want to give ,weather we want to give all mic in inspection plan we want to assign here

In this tab whatever characteristics you would select only that characteristics would appear on Quality Certificate. Because you may not need to print all characteristics data on Quality Certificate.

Hi

For the certificate for finished goods if i don't want to dd any other materila from bom in certificate(Other than FG detail) wether i need to maintain under "maintain the Material Reference and Data Origin in certification profile" any thing

or only FG details i need to maintain?
