Inconsistency in FI GL value and Inventory Stock

Hi Experts,

We have a situation that for 2 finished material stocks quantity in inventory for a particulat plant is nil (checked in MMBE,MB51,MB52,MB5B) whereas it is showing quantity and value in MC.9 & GL account. Value in MC.9 and GL account is matching for 2 materials.

What is the procedure to correct the GL account value and value & qty in MC.9 as we do not have physical stock exisiting in the inventory for this 2 materials.

Try running Report RMCBMBEW to regenerate the MM-FI Reconcilliation and recheck after that

Dear:

A possible reason can be that after GR material has been moved to restricted stock or Block stocked . In this case MMBE and other reports will not show the stock but MC.9 and GL account will show the material since they show the material stock irrespective of the stock being in blocked list. GL has been updated since MIGO was done but latter material was moved to blocked stock hence report not showing the data.
