Hi all

For ordering spare parts, could you please confirm from where the lead time is picked up on the order ?

From the PIR or the material master ?

Thanks in advance!

hi,

the details will be in the material master and if the PIR is created they will be defaulted in the PIR and if po is created with reference po the details from pir is defaluted into the po.

thanks for the answer...

It means that if the PIR does not exist for material vendor combination, it is pick up from material master record.

If a PIR exists, the lead time is pick up from there?

It should take from the info record in case you are creating a PO.

for PR from MRP it comes from the Material master.

so for PO , Info record will be given first priority and If info record is not there then it will take from material master.

So calculation will be

Leadtime (Info record/ Mat.master) + GR processing time + Purchase processing time = Delivery date

Lead time is in calender days. GR processing time and Purchase processing time are working days.
