Unable to shop

A user is unable to shop.

On checking user in bbp_check_users.....address consistency error

error message "error determining address for employee"

Also on checking the BP of the user in t.code BP, on clicking relationship tab getting error "person address combination doesn't exist"

please advice.

what happens when the user tries to shop?. can u pl provide the error message ( do you get a dump in the web?). You can manually enter the address for the org unit of the employee in the org structure and then try to shop.

i have faced similar error before, but it was mainly due to inconsistency in the data replicated from HR system.

This symptom is mentioned in the following note, which has a report to repair such BP.

836353 - Correction Report for inconsistencies in BUT052/ADCP tables

Also, you can use the following procedure if report does not work.

1) Go to transaction PPOMA_BBP.

2) Identify the position of user A which is currently tied to org unit X.

3) Move this position manually to a completely different org unit say Y (BP -> 12) and save.

4) Check if the Relationships in the BP transaction now reflects this new assignment.

5) If yes, then move the user's position again back to the desired org unit X (BP -> 11) and save.

6) Check if the Relationships in the BP transaction now reflects this new assignment.

This way any inconsistency in the relationship of users can be corrected by performing the above procedure.
