Mismatch Exchange rate between Header Level & Item Level

Hi everyone,

I have marked exchange rate fixed at PO header level.

After executing MIGO, in the accounting document generated, exchange rate at item levels is same as that of PO (as expected) but exchange rate at header level is reflecting OB08 rate (should be PO fixed rate).

Afer executing MIRO, exchange rate is same in header details as well as at item level.

Any SAP note/suggestion to rectify this issue is most welcome.

Calculations wrt exchange rates are all OK, its just the incorrect texchange rate at header level in GR accounting doc.

Regards

Hi

If you want system to take the PO Defined exchange rate in Migo, there is a check box for Fixed Exchange rate. Maintain that tick and the system will derive the exchange rate from the PO Header rather than the M Rate maintained in OB08. This is particularly useful for imports scenario of india, where business might require the stock to be valuated at Customs Rate, which you may choose to maintain in PO Header.

Hi,

At the time of GR, standard SAP takes actual M rate (as applicable on GR date) into inventory line posting and header.

For other lines of GR/IR posting, it takes into account the Fixed Exchange rate from PO.
