How to use the transaction VT01N and VT01N prerequisits.

Can anyone send me how and when to use the transaction code VT01N.and also the prerequisits for VT01N.

Hello Joydeep,

VT01N is used for the creation of shipments and the assignment of deliveries to shipments, as long as the deliveries in question are relevent for shipments, there are no other prerequisit.

One of the preconditions for shipment creation is that the route is relevant for transportation, without this, deliveries cannot be added to a shipment.

The 2 customizing conditions for adding deliveries to shipments are:

- the delivery type is relevant for transportation

- the route is relevant for transportation

Both are defined in the customizing path:

SPRO > Logistics Execution > Transportation > Shipments > Maintain Transportation Relevance
