From user id is not wf-batch in mail step

Hi Team,

In my work flow there is a mail step which send mail to some receipients.

The same work flow replicated to CRM,ECC and the mail step sending mail .When I check the mail in my inbox from details coming as WF-BATCH.

But starnge! When I am checking the mail step from SRM work flow , in my inbox the from details is coming as userid(say abcde) except WF-BATCH.

My requirement is WF_BATCH should be involved in execution of backgroiund tasks and sending mails in mail step But why user name is coming in from address.

I have cheked in SWU3 , The administratior is set as WF-BATCH fro SRM system.

Hi Soumya,

The email from SendMail task is always executed from background, hence will be from WF-BATCH only.

The email you are referring might be from any other code. Check that. You can look into WF log and see the mail log to verify.

I did RFC configuration in SWU3 transaction and it resolved my problem
