Special procurement key in GATP

Hi,

Intend to use special procurement key (either in BOM or in material master) to withdraw a component for a finished product from another plant . Transferred PDS to APO . Find that plant is still the planning plant in explosion of BOM in APO and there is no field for special procurement key in PDS or in APO.

Please advise for the wayout so that SPK can be used in GATP.

Thanks for the note suggested.

We developed as per the note and it works fine with SPK 70 in material master. There is a need to have SPK in BOM i.e not in material master (as same material may not always be procured from alternative plant). However, that does not work i.e PDS does not show the alternative plant when SPK70 is in BOM , but not in material master.

Note also says

"The solution only works for PP/DS.

You can only set the withdrawal location in the product master and not in the PPM or iPPE."

We are in SCM 7.0. Is there any other way out .
