Hi All,
Our client went for payroll posting from April'2011 for particularly few employees performed action as confirmation with effect from April'2010 (Action performed on 25thApril2011) for these employees its posting from April2010 means of Excess posting of 12 months.
I checked all the configuration its seems to be correct. Is there any note or any suggestion available on this.

Client went on FI integration from this april'2011. For few employees they have joined as Trainees and got confirmed with effect from April'2010 and the action has been performed on this. There is no change of cost centre and basic pay. Just only confirmation action has been performed.
When posted the pay results for the month of April2011 for these employees its taking into consideration from april2010 so april2010 to march2011 12 months of excess posting for each component.
I checked all the configurations n seems to be correct.
Suresh,
As Minttea has already said that it is happening as you retro had been triggered for those period because of change in one of the infotypes (0, 1, 7, 8, 27). Since system will find the new result for thsoe period in payroll cluster it will try to do the posting again for those period even tjough there will not be nay difference and posting will go smoothly.
If you are looking to stop this by some way, i am not sure if you can do it. Posting for retro needs to be done hence probably it will not be possible to stop it.
