Hi,
We are planning to implement ERP transactions(Quote, Order) from CRM 7.0. Like creating ERP quotation (as a follow up from CRM Opportunity) in CRM WEB UI.
Questions:
1) Since ERP is called using RFC, will this cause any performance issue?
2) What are the disadvantages by using this process?
Please provide your inputs.
Thx
I use both scenarios and didn't experience any performance problems.
For disadvantages check SAP Note 1236015.

It is possible to create CRM Activity as follow-up to ERP Quote. However, there is no document-flow created and is displayed in the transaction history of the ERP-Document for this kind of relationship.
The Reverse is not possible however. means you cannot create ERP quote as follow-up from CRM activity.

Hi Shaik,
Thank you for your reply. Good to know that it is possible to create CRM Activity from ERP Quote.
Does it call RFC from ECC to CRM? I looked at the configuration, and where do we set the copy control between ERP quote and CRM Activity?
I would really appreciate, if you could give some information.
Thank you!
