Program for auto UD for the Insp lots, with Storage location in selection

Hi QM Experts,

Need a help in the following scenario.

I need a program for running as a background job to do Auto UD for the Inspection lots. The selection of the Inspection lots should be based on Plant and storage location wise. This makes me critical.

I had identified the TCode as QA16, which can do this job in fore ground. But, when i execute the program RQEVAI10 (For QA16), as a background job, the system only selects the probable Inspection lots. But the UD is not happening in background Job.

So, i hope, this program doesn't suits to my requirement.

Could you people can suggest the right program or any other best way to solve my problem.

Have you looked at QA10?

I'd copy that program and make the needed changes to that. It is designed to run in the background. (QA17).

Hi Surendra,

I agree with FF. Perhaps this may be one only way to map this.

You may explore copying QA16 also. For this new program create user variant with storage location as input. Schedule this program in SM36 / SM37 using variant. You may schedule this periodically with dynamic date selection also.
