Check whether there is some manual postings are there in stock or not , if it is there then obviously difference will be there.

Dear:
The differences are sometime caused within FI(missing FI documents, missing balance updates in GLT0), or could be caused in MM(for example change in stock valuation). number of things need to be checked and evaluated. Sometimes it happens so that MB5L shows differences if it is run for current period and if postings are happening in the system during the run time.
Please proceed as under and
1. Re-run MB5L/RM07MMFI to check whether the differences exist and are consistently the same amounts.
2. Raise a message with SAP support to take a look at the inconsistencies.
Please revert back in case of confusion.

Hi
Refer SAP Note 968812. It gives some probable reasons for the differenecs in MM & FI Balances for MB5L. There are some other notes also like 1467604, 161621, 490469, 520010, 215839
differences also some times come due to document summarization that may be active in the system
In case even after this analysis, you do not find the difference, raise a ticket with SAP

Hi
I have a strong opinion that you are using document summarization which is the issue. Check your document summarization parameters
IMG>Financial Accounting>Genneral Ledger>Closing >Intergration>Materials Management>Define Summarization for material documents
Check here what are the parameters defined for table MSEG and MKPF

Hi
Are there any changes in BSX GL assignement in OBYC.Also check if post automatically was removed in the changes logs of your stock account and if there are any manual postings in that GL Account. Also check for the corrective actions in the SAP Notes that i have mentioned in my earlier posts
