Variables are not importing into universe?

HI all ,

I have created a universe on top of a Bex query .

in Bex query , i have 3 variables , 2 are characteristic variables , 1 is hierarchy node variable .

those are not importing and i am not able to see them .

can any one please help me on this ?

Does universe supports all type of variables ?

i mean which type of variables are not transferrd to Universe designer ?

The following types of SAP Bex query variables are supported in universes:

u2022 Characteristic variables

u2022 Hierarchy variables

u2022 Hierarchy node variables

u2022 Currency variables

u2022 Formula variables

u2022 Text variables (as replacement path and authorization processed

variables)

u2022 Key date variables
