Royalty / Conditions posting to Finance but not adding to SO net value.

Dear all

We have this requirement to calculate the following in the pricing procedure:-

Client wants to pay royalties to a party based on Sales of Beers and others products to two different parties (depending on the type of finished goods)

The Calculation is done at Sales Order using a customized condition type pointing to a GL account specifically created for this purpose using separate pricing condition.

However at Net Price calculation in Sales Order the system is including these u201Croyaltiesu201D

We tried rebate feature, however since rebates are being paid back to customers, we are unable to use the feature.

We also tried condition exclusion feature, when a condition is excluded, the posting to FI and COPA didnu2019t happen either.

Can anyone advise how we can impute the calculations, exclude in Net Price in SO, but in COPA and FI books must be hit.

Thanks!

Hi,

For royalty condition type make setting same as material rebate condition type

Then refer std pricing procedure RVAA01 in that see settings for material rebate condition (make same setting in your own price procedure, Remove requirement 24)

Now in sales order system will calculate royalty but will not include it in net value (as like rebate)

Then to flow the royalty values in COPA you need to make setting in KEI4,KE4M,KE4W

For COPA settings kindly take help of CO consultant

Hello, this is not the usual royalty scenario. Anyway we have created conditions based on accrual types and tied it up to the condition and VKOA.
