Hi,
Does anyone know if it is possible to create a report writer variable to replace a hard-coded number in the report?
Assume. there are two columns(A,B) in the report. the second column(B) is a formula column. It takes the first column and multiple it by a multiplier. e.g. B=A*0.97 . Currently the multiplier 0.97 is hard coded in the report. I would like to know if there is way to create a variable to replace the hard-coded number in the formalu so that user can input the number when they execute the report.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
One way is to maintain it as statistical key figure (SKF) > include the SKF in the report painter > then replace it with the hard code. So only change the value in SKF before running the report as maintenance of SKF is easy and can be done by end user directly
.
Kind regards,
John Chin
