MDM import manager "Unable to retrieve uniue values for field

dear experts: we have a question regarding SRM-MDM catalog. we are using MDM 3.0 SP6 with SRM-MDM repository SP 10.

Our problem occurs when trying to upload records thru import manager. If an user with standard role Catalog Manager uploads the records, everything is fine.

But, if we create a copy of this role and restrict access to catalog using a Namedsearch, when we try to upload records via import manager, we get always the following error every time we try to map a field: "Unable to retrieve unique values for field "fieldname""

Any idea about where is the problem? Any workaround to avoid it?
