Communication channel - cache problem?

Former Member

Hi experts,

sometimes when I change parameters in communication channels that have thrown an error (in order to solve the problem), this modification is not immediatly working after activation of CC: the CC still works with old configuration.

To solve the problem now I clear cache of XI everytime.

Is a problem that someone got?

Thanks

Fabio

Hi,

In addition to the above suggestions,

Go to RWB --> Component Monitoring --> Cache Connectivity Test.

Select the Cache component which is not getting updated immediately and perform a test on it.

Check if there is any error during the test and analyse it.

Maybe it is caused by CPA cache.

check your CAP Cache , Cache status in ID, you can see and update.

Hi,

when I try CPA cache full refresh I got this error:

You are not authorized to view the requested resource.

Details: No details available

Which user should I have to be authorized?

Thanks

Hi,

The problem is definitely with the cache refresh problem.

For this please check the timeline maintained in the JVM(Java virtual Machine). I belive you need to provide a response time over there(Not sure Please check), secondly you can also try to restart the system once again.

For the initial cache refresh you need to refresh the cache by manually refreshing all the cache in the Integration builder-->profile>Integration directory cache refresh for java cache refresh and also you can refresh the ABAP cache from SXI_CACHE transaction.

Cheers,

Jay

In addition to above suggestions... Few cents... This might help

1)SXI_Cache

2) Stop the channel

3) Restart again

this is a cache issue.

The cache updates should happen automatically.

Please look into service market places for oss notes on issues with cache.
