Using Alerters in Charts (webi 3.1 sp3)

Hi All,

Could anyone tell me if it's possible to use alerters in charts ? I'm using BOE 3.1 sp3.

Hi David,

Charts are not supporting alerters in XI 3.*.

New chart engine delivered with major release 4.0 will help in supporting this; the functionality is therefore considered with a high priority to be added with a minor release on the 4.* codeline.

Alerters are not supported in BO directly in the XI 3.1 SP3. However, you have to play the trick to apply/show the alerts in charts.

Trick- Create multiple charts or variables and apply a block level filter to show one at a time satisfying the Alert condition.

So, please explain your requirement in more detail so that one can guide you further if it is feasible.
