text PO

Hi All,

When I create a text PO without material number with only the material group and material description is there a way of setting up the system in such a way that when the user uses account assignment category K , he/she can only choose from material groups C01-C10 ?

Is it possible in standard SAP to achieve this?

Hi,

Not possible in standard SAP, just check with ABAPer if any user exit or BAdi has been implemented.

As said by above gurus, there is no plain vanilla std way.

try out User exits / enhancement spots on save action of PO so that it will cover PO create & change.

Hi

We can give authorization for the material groups but we cant able give it based on account assignment category. seek abapers help to achive your requirment.
