Logic of workitem_ID field in table udm_cct_attr and Udm_wl_item

Hello Experts,

In FSCM, The Workitem_ID field gets update in table UDM_CCT_ATTR and UDM_WL_ITEM. These two tables are imp for extracting BW report. Whenever we contact customer and save it the Table UDM_CCT_ATTR gets updated same time and field worklist_ID in table also gets updated with some value. I need to understand why system sometimes display 000000000000000000 in workitem_ID field in this table.

For example: I have saved the customer contact for BP 10000000xx, and table UDM_CCT_ATTR gets updated on 08.06.2011 as follows with workitem_ID as 4DC94E36BCDE5EB9E10000008778400C. but in same table we could see workitm_ID as 0 also. Please let me know when this value becomes 0000000. What is the logic behind this.
