Not able to generate billing document

Hai Gurus

While saving a document in vf01, the following error occurs " Express document "Update was terminated" received from author"

I have assigned a new number range series to this billing document. plz advise.

Hi

You need to check the number ranges for both the SD and FI Applications. If you have multiple application servers, it is quite possible that due to Buffer setting for your no range object in SNRO, there are gaps and in such case the doc no is missed

Generally this error comes when the Number Range is finished. Sometimes , this issue gets resolved after some time when you change the Number Range .

Our ABAPER is telling the document has been duplicated. but cudnt find the existing document as well.

Must be you are getting the Previous Document with the currently created Sales Document. Create The Number Range from where it is finshed. Just cross-check the Number Range Assignment From - to - To Column.

Check this [thread|;

Check ST22 about the dump and ask ABAP/BASIS to look into the same. Make sure number range is properly setup.
