An entry in field Earmarked Funds is not permitted for an account

Hi,

I have funds management activated and I am using funds reservations for certain postings. In the field status group of the GL account I have maintained 'earmarked funds' and 'complete earmarked funds' as optional entries. However at the time of transaction FB50 I am facing the following error:

An entry in field Earmarked Funds is not permitted for account XXXX.

Request your suggestion in this regard.

Dear

Are you checked the field status on the posting key and the fields status group of the account master data under the IMG activity, if it still give you the same error, please give the message number and the error text

I have seen that error (Message F5394) before when an attempt was made to use a non P&L account in the funds reservation document or a commitment item with the wrong financial transaction/category.
