UOM 'EA' as Integer

Hi,

We have defined a BOM like below:

For 1000 kg of header material 5.556 EA of material X is required.(Material X is packaging material is always available in inventory in intergers.

Now I have created a process order of 180 kg. System propose required qty of material X as '2'.

System has done calculations as below = 5.556/1000*180 = 1.00008.

My requirement is that in this case system should proposerequirements of 1 EA instead of 2 EA.

Q- How to do that?

The EA has been configured as suggested.

Can you suggest an example the values to be maintained in rounding profile. You can take the case mentioned as reference.

Hi,

This can be done with Rounding Profile.

You need to define Rounding Profile as per your business requirement and then assigning it to Material master -> MRP-1 View-> Lot Size data---> Rounding profile.

Also for EA you maintain below settings :

Go to CUNI ---> Change UOM Dimension Details ---> Select EA ---> Decimal Places here maintain 0 decimal if you want EA should always be integer & if you want to enable rounding for decimals then specify value of decimals in field Decimal pl. rounding.

Try after above settings.
