Migrate from New data flow to old data flow

Dear All,

We had installed HR cubes. We initially performed the migration to new data flow.

Can we now revert back to old data flow as we are not able to test the standard reports at all?

Please give ur suggestion.

Hi Anup,

I would advise you to look into the issues that you got and continue working with the 7.0 flow as it has many good features/advantages.

You can migrate back to the 3.x flow. You can reverse migrate the datasource to 3.x from transaction RSDS. You have the option from the datasource menu --> restore 3.x datasource. You can do this only if you have chosen the option 'with export' or something at the time of replication of datasources. Otherwise you need to delete the datasource in BW and replicate it again. You can then install the transfer rules, etc.

Goto T-code RSDS ->Data source tab->restore to 3.X datasource to get the 3.X version
