We can't tell which material it will falls under ?
It all depends upon how it is treated & used by client.
If it is used a raw material for producing another material. It will be of material type - ROH Raw material.
Whereas if it is consumed for non production purposes,it will be material type - CONS Consumable.
If it have no value to your client but you want to keep track of stock,
then material will be UNBW - Non valuated material type.

Hi,
As materials(Oxygen, Acetylene), need to be tracked in inventory and accounting, then create a material type ZGAS(as GAS FUEL)copying from ROH material type and also create a valuation class 3009 copying from valuation class 3000. In OMS2 for material type ZGAS (GAS FUEL) keep valuation class 3009.
During material creation (Oxygen, Acetylene), enter valuation class 3009 in accounting-1 view

Hi Dear,
if you are purchasing both the gases in the cylinders then you can define both the materials as the normal ROH or if used in the maintenance then ERSA, but for there Cylinders you will have to made another material LEER type that is for empties, generaling for the Gas cutting sets you use the material, then you have to track down the cylinders also.
IN this case when you procure the filled cylinders, you will have to return the empty cylinders. that can be maped by the above process.
hope it helps you.

Yawar Khan
