Hi,
I want configure SAP system for using Gmail service (send e-mail through gmail server), anyone know if this is possible?
i appreciete your answers about it.
Best Regards.
Hola Pedro,
Basically Gmail require username and password authentication. SAP does not have this capability and requires that the IP address of your system is populated in the Relay Agent of the SMTP server so mails coming from SAP are trusted and no authentication is needed.
So the answer is No.

Juan

Hi,
You should allow in your mail server to external mails. Check with your system administrator.
Thanks

hello Pedro
If you see in SCOT it looks for SMTP FQDN with port information.
If you have those details of the server and your firewall access list allows you to access external SMTP it should work.
