Today we have a material that has 3 units in WM but there is no in MM physically

In true there is 0 units. We have to eliminate this 3 units in WM that there is in Storage Bin LOST&FOUND. It is not possible to do inventory or cancel this movement. Thus we have to to eliminate this and its document as TO number. Anybody knows How can I do this ?

Hi Marcos

The standard business process to eliminate WM Material stocks

You have to do Physical inventory to match physical stock with book (actual) stock. If your stock does not match with book stock then you need to do transaction to match these stocks. it may be receipt (stock found) or it may be issue (stolen/mistake in issue etc). When you clear physical inventory at WM level at that time it will not impact Finance becuase in WM, inventory is managed at only Quantity level, but you need to match WM and IM stocks so you have to clear this difference at IM level as well. When you clear difference at IM level it has to create accounting document if material is valuated material.

Steps to do Physical inventory

The Physical inventory process in IM and WM is same.

First close all TO and TR

1.) create phy inven doc:LI01N

2.) activate Phy inven doc:LI02N

3) enter count: LI11N

4) for recount (if necessary):LI14

5)clear differences in WM : LI20

6) clear differences in IM : LI21

Thanks.

You can use transaction LX23 this will show differences between WM and IM. It always assumes WM is correct.

So for e.g. if IM shows 20 and WM shows 10 BUT 20 is right, you need to do a cycle count for 10.

IM will now show 30 and WM will show 20 , now run LX23 this will bring IM to also 20, and your stock is in sync.

This transaction can be used for all Company owned special stocks (will not work for B stock)
