How to add an extra field in FBL3N like House Bank? Can you please briefly explain the process ?

Hi Harsha,

In SAP to add a field in standard report, you can do with the help of BTEs (Business Transaction Events).

Check this BTE no 00001650.

Go to Tcode FIBF =>Environment=>Info system(P/S)=>F8=>Select the event 00001650=>Click on documentation

1. Extend the structure RFPOSX and RFPOS with a new append structure.

2. Run the RFPOSXEXTEND report.

3. Create BTE 1650 (Business Transaction Event). For this purpose, copy the sample function module SAMPLE_INTERFACE_00001650 into the customer namespace.

4. Activate the module in transaction FIBF. Go to 'Settings -> Products -> ... of a customer' and create a product. You can choose the name of the product and the description. Set the 'Active' indicator and save.

5. Go to 'Settings -> P/S Modules -> ... of a customer' and include an entry for event 00001650 with your new product and function module. Save the entry.

Execute authorization check SU53 immediately after you run FBL3N and it does not populate any figure for the newly added field. There seems *F_IT_ALV *Line Item Display: Change and Save Layout is missing from your user profile. Please ask basis consultant to resolve that. Hope this will help.

After adding a required field in the table, in my case it is not popping up in the FBL3N. Can you please tell me why it is doing that.

If Housebank is not in the standard field selection, you have to customize the report based on the standard and add the field.

enter t-code O7R3. Enter '/n' in command field to get out from FBL3N. Execute and display Home Bank column.

Hi,

exceute FBL3N and go to menu "settings". Select "special fields". You will be able to add field in Change Layouts options including HBKID.
