Hi,
Are BPF's used for automating the Consolidation steps, like currency translations, Intercompany eliminations and COI.
If so, can you please throw more inputs on how to configure this and how the system behaves.
Thanks,
Chaitu
The way I automate the consolidation processes / jobs is to put the tasks in a process chain and schedule .

BPF is just a tool to streamline consolidation process and it cannot automate it. Users can bypass active BPF instance and still do what ever they want in the consolidation process (depending on authorizations and work status locks).

Hi,
You can use BPC DM schedules to automate data loads for consolidation. I dont see any reliable explanation why should you automate consolidation process. If you are using BPF then you need to define steps/sub-steps and attach DM packages as activities to it. BPF will streamline the consolidation process...meaning you can control/monitor the process using it (with some known limitations).
