PGI Quantity

Hi,

I have a scenario in which I want to do PGI of part quantity, say, Delivery quantity is 10 MT but I want to do PGI of only 7 MT without changing the delivery quantity. Is it possible..?

Hi,

No, its not possible, you need to change the delivery quantity 7 and do pgi and remaining quanity do new delivery and do pgi.

Its not logic to create delivery for 10 nos and do pgi 7 nos, there will be inscosnistenty in G/L postings.

In delivery change the picking quantity to 7 and try to PGI.

This is not a valid scenario hence standard SAP does not support.

Once PGI is done, inventory will get updated and value change in the balance sheet for inventory accounting is been posted.

If picking quantity is same as the delivery quantity then only PGI can be done else system will not allow to PGI. You need to match the picking quantity with the delivery quantity to perform PGI.

it's not possible as system will allow to do PGI with the same as the Delivery Quantity only.
