BPC NW 7.5 Hierarchies are deleted

Hi All

I am working on BPC NW7.5 with support package 7. Manual master data is created in the Dimension with the hierarchy. We are using Parenth1 only.

When I load the Hierarchies from SAP ECC into the dimension, the parenth1 data for all the manual data is deleted.

Is there any way to prevent this from happening?

When it comes to hierarchies, the practice is not to maontian them in BPC but to load them from BI. This is because when you maintain the hierarhcy in BPC and then load from BI ( which is what you have done, right?), the BPC hierarchies get overwritten. Did you check the data in BI for the hierachy?

We need to create dummy members for planning.

Example:

Before loading Hierarchies the following data is created manually:

ID PARENTH1

TOT

CC1 TOT

CC2 TOT

After loading BW hierarchy for Cost Center I have the following result (BW data in Italic):

ID PARENTH1

TOT

CC1

CC2

TOTAL_CC

CC_100 TOTAL_CC

CC_200 TOTAL_CC

The Parenh1 data for the manual master data is deleted.
