SUS business partner replication (portal supplier marker), XI/PI required?

In SRM 7.0 and SRM 7.01 for scenario SRM-SUS (Supplier Qualification) XI/PI is/will still be mandatory?

Yes, PI/XI is mandatory as far as SRM 7.0 is concerned for SUS business partner replication.

Let us wait for someone else to clear the air on SRM 7.01.

Yes, PI/XI is still mandatory in SRM70/701 for SUS. In SRM701, PI independant services are introduced only for enterprise services between SRM and ERP systems for PO, PR, Contract.
