Cache 22 Situation : XCelsius 2008 and Windows 7 - "Server Busy Message"

Folks - I am going through cache 22 situation here. Everytime when i try to import spreadsheet in Xcelsius 2008. I get "Server Busy Message"

I have moved from Win XP to Windows 7 last week.

Have installed XCelsius 2008 SP3 and Fix Pack 3.3 so that it will compatible with Windows 7.

Problem

When i import new files, another excel process starts in Win 7 and "Server busy message" comes up.

I am able to open Xcelsius dashboards. Generate swf file.

Need to understand if anyone facing similar problem.

Additional details

OS : Windows 7 (Enterprise Edition)

Xcelsisus 2008 : SP3 with FP3.3

Hi Pramod ,

That is a compatable issue ..

Check if Microsoft Excel Compatability Checker Application is running in the background.

You can check that in task manager Applications or u can check that by using key board shortcut Alt+Tab .

Select that application and click Continue

Hi,

You may want to double check and make sure your MS Office (e.g Excel) is also a supported platform. Excel plays a big part in Xcelsius.

Catch 22 - great book.

Also, are you using Office 2010? If so, that's probably your problem. You can either upgrade to the newest version of Xcelsius (2011) which supports Office 2010, or downgrade Office to 2007.
