Balance transfer from one company code to another

Hello

There is already one company code is running....and having 5-6 plants.......now one of the plant is going to become another legal entity.........and the mostly customer and vendors are same with both of them entities.............so for the cutover data what should be the strategy..........

Regarding plant decision, the first & foremost point is to check with your MM consultant.

Becuase he will be in a more approproate position to answer it.

Secondly for balance transfer, you can check in this Forum of Financials.

What do you want to transfer Is it AR.AP & GL items?

I think ideally you have to create another company code to cater the same since the plant has become a legal entity. This is for your information.

you should create Business Place for each plant.
