FI-SL Hierarchy / Set

Hello,

I am having an issue loading a SL Hierarchy/Set when there is a combination of intervals and individual values contained in the set. The error message reads

"The node with the technical name ECOA0000000000 appears more than once under the node with the ID 00000001. A node must be hung only once under its direct predecessor (parent). The nodes with the same technical name have the IDs 00000006 and 00000005."

I can load the hierarchy with only one single value and the intervals, however I can't seem to have more than one single value.

Heir example (field RACCT on FAGLFLEXA table)

4010300 - 4010320

4010500 - 4010600

4010700 - 4010800

4011150

4011300

Thanks,

Sheila

The hierarchy

4010300 - 4010320

4010500 - 4010600

4010700 - 4010800

4011150

4011300

is a piece of a more complex hierarchy?

The error message suggests me that the node 4011300 is parent of the same node for tree times.

I have a friend that have your problem in HR Hierarchy. I ask Him about this message and contact you later!

Thank you Angela, but can you define duplicates. I don't have the same account number twice and I don't have any overlapping intervals / single values, so I don't understand where the duplicates are? See the list of accounts used in the set below:

4010300 - 4010320

4010500 - 4010600

4010700 - 4010800

4011150

4011300

I get the error when I add a 2nd single value, e.g. 4011300.

Note that this is a delivered extractor for FI-SL.

Thanks,

Sheila

Hi.

You must delete the duplicates. In other words, you can have that node B is parent of node A a only time.

If you use a custom program to generate the hierarchy, can use the standard function to calculate the relationships between the nodes. In some way, you can delete the duplicates.

See on this site http://www.sapdevelopment.co.uk/ the functions to extract the Hierarchy in HR for example.

Best Regards
