Sale / STO of Manufactured quantities in R&D dept..

Hi,

Some small quantity of FG products are manufactured by R&D.

In such cases Material is issued to R&D Cost centres through Movement type 201. Once the Product is ready and we need to Sale / create STO, the question comes is how to create stock? Since the Raw materials were not issued to Production through Movement 311 and not consumed in Process order by 261 movement.

Presently to handle such cases Production is taking help of Mov 961 which ask for Internal order ref and generates stock for us. Now due to all this process Internal order has having a very big amount by the year end and is find difficult to settle it.

Request your expert opinion on how to resolve this issue, so that order is settled while running Co Cycle or is there any different way to bring FG stock produced by R&D.

Absolutely wrong process!

you should not have generated stock like this... Create a Prod order with separate prod order type for FG made by RnD Dept... Follow the normal prod process with a separate order type
